Lash Line Enhancement VS. Eyeliner Tattoo

We exclusively offer lash line enhancements. This service is often confused with an eyeliner tattoo, but they are different procedures. 


Lash Line Enhancement: Pigment is deposited between the lashes to give the illusion of a fuller, denser, lash line. This looks very natural and not like makeup.


Eyeliner Tattoo: Pigment is deposited above (and between) the lashes to create a line that looks like eyeliner makeup.

IMPORTANT PRE CARE

  • Discontinue hair growth serums (eg. Latisse, Eye Envy) at least 1 month prior for safety reasons.

  

  • Lash extensions must be removed prior to your appointment.


  • If you wear contact lenses, remove them prior. Bring glasses.  


  • No eye-makeup, mascara, shadow, whatsoever. Please remove it the night before and again the morning of.  


  • Hair: Arrive to your appointment with clean, washed hair. 


  • Avoid exercise 1-3 hours prior. 


  • Refrain from drinking alcohol* the day before and day of your appointment.  


  • Do not take any Aspirin*, Advil, or Ibuprofen, or any painkillers that increase bleeding the day before and day of your appointment (Tylenol is ok).  


  • Discontinue blood thinning medications and supplements 48 hours before (e.g Omega's)   *Blood thinners will increase bleeding during the procedure. If blood is coming out, pigment can not go in and therefore, your healed results will be jeopardized.

IMPORTANT post-care

  • Keep the area dry for 5 days


  • No eye makeup for 5 days


  • Avoid sweat for 5 days


  • Avoid direct sun light as much as possible to prevent fading

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER a lash line enhancement

The area may be red. Swelling may have begun or could begin on day 2. You can take an antihsitamine to bring it down or use an ice pack.


You won't see visible scabbing.


The color will look dark and thick at first and then lighten over time until reaching its healed result in about 2 weeks.


Another layer of pigment can be added at the touch up to darken, fill in any missing gaps, or go slightly thicker.
