Non-Refundable Booking Fee ("Commitment Fee"):
A 25% non-refundable booking fee will be charged to book and hold an appointment.
— Why? This is to protect the artist's time and ensure clients are committed to the appointment.
This fee is deducted from the total at check out.
It is transferable once with 48 hour notice minimum and valid for 6 months from the date it is received.
48-Hour Reschedule Policy:
This strictly enforced, policy means that 48-hours prior to the scheduled appointment the booking fee becomes non-transferable and your appointment cannot be rescheduled with the same booking fee.
— Why? This policy is in place because with short notice like this we can not fill the appointment slot and therefore the artist who reserved the time for you, is now not able to take another client. The booking fee goes towards paying for the artist's time that had been reserved for you.
Clients who reschedule within 48 hours will be required to pay a new booking fee to secure a new appointment.
Late Policy: Arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in the appointment being cancelled and the booking fee forfeited. If you choose to rebook, another booking fee will have to be placed.
— Why? Because we wont have enough time to complete your service and these are services that can’t be rushed.
No Show Policy: Clients who do not show up for an appointment, or cancel the same day, will forfeit their booking fee and be automatically charged 50% of the total service (effective Nov 1, 2024).
—Why? Policies like this are in place to protect our Artists time and income. When we do not work, we do not get paid. In the same way that your boss won’t cancel your work day the day of and tell you that you arent getting paid today, it is the same for us. We have bills too!
Clients who do not show up for a complimentary touch up session, will forfeit the free session and be charged according to how many weeks later the touch up takes place (e.g. 9 weeks, 12 weeks, etc.)
Each client will receive one complimentary touch up 4-8 weeks after their initial eyebrow and lash line appointments. After 8 weeks, the session is no longer complimentary and will be charged according to how many weeks it has been since the appointment.
Clients who are 15 minutes late, do not give 48 hour notice to reschedule, or do not show up for their touch up, will lose the complimentary session.
Clients who choose to forgo the complimentary touch up (i.e. they don't need it, or the timing doest work out, will not be refunded any amount).
There is NO complimentary touch up included for scar camouflage, areola tattooing, laser removal, or periodic touch ups.
Changing Technique / Shape: At your complimentary touch up appointment, if you decide to change the shape significantly, or switch to another technique, there will be a charge of $100 + hst and you may require a third touch up ($150 +hst) to reinforce the new addition.
If you’ve had previous tattooing done on the area before by:
- Another Artist (no matter how long ago)
- Lara more than 2 years ago
You MUST email info@larajadebeauty.com clear photos to get approval before booking.
Not all existing work can be covered without removal first.
Some existing work, even 2 years later, will still look great and we won't recommend you touch them up yet.
Clients who proceed to book an appointment with previous work that was not cleared by us, and we can't work over it resulting in a cancelled appointment, will not be refunded the booking fee.
Clients who arrive to an appointment with previous work that was not previously cleared by us will forfeit their booking fee and the appointment will be cancelled.
Clients who no-show, or do not reschedule within 48 hours, will be charged $50 + hst in order to use the remaining sessions in their package and before being able to re-book.

Parking: There is green P parking on the street along St Clair West as well as a Green P lot on the north side of St. Clair W.
Guests, Children, Mobile Devices: Due to the undivided attention required from your artists, please minimize distractions by coming alone to your appointment. If you would like to have someone above 18 accompany you, please be respectful in the waiting area.
Refusal of Service: Lara Jade Beauty maintains the right to refuse service to anyone who arrives to any appointment sick, or intoxicated, or is disrespectful, rude or violent to our staff or the other clients. Booking fee will be forfeited.
Results: We provide the same service for every client, but the healed results can vary. Retention depends on your immune system, skin type, lifestyle, medications, and adherence to our pre and post care instructions. Therefore, healed results are beyond our control but we guarantee we will do everything we can at your appointment to make sure that the factors we can control are done correctly (i.e. color choice, depth, technique, providing clear pre and post care instructions and aftercare supplies).
At Lara Jade Beauty, we value your privacy. We collect information like name, contact details, and appointment preferences solely to manage bookings, confirmations, and inquiries. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties for promotional purposes. Any data sharing is limited to essential business processes, such as appointment scheduling.
