POLICIES - Strictly Enforced.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

These policies apply to all cancellations and rescheduling regardless of reason, including illness, unforeseen circumstances, weather, and road conditions. No exceptions; this ensures that we are able to run a sustainable business while providing consistent care to all clients.

Non-Refundable Booking Fee: 

A 25% non-refundable booking fee is required to book and hold an appointment. It’s deducted from the total at checkout, valid for 6 months, and transferable once with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

48-Hour Reschedule Policy:  

This strictly enforced policy means that 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment the existing booking fee becomes void and non-transferable. A new booking fee will be required to rebook.

No Show Policy / Same-Day Cancellation:  

Clients who do not show up for an appointment, or cancel the same day, will be automatically charged the remaining amount for a total of 50% of the service cost. A new booking fee will be required to rebook. For complimentary services, the complimentary session becomes void and there will be a charge to re-book.

Complimentary Service Policy: 

Complimentary touch-ups must be completed within 4–8 weeks. After 8 weeks, the session is no longer complimentary and will be charged according to how many weeks it has been since the appointment (see website for pricing).

Appointments that are missed, cancelled, or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be forfeited. 

Missed or late-cancelled consultations will be charged $20.

Late Policy: 

Arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in the appointment being cancelled. The booking fee forfeited, and a new booking fee will be required to rebook.

Right to Decline Service:

Lara Jade Beauty reserves the right to decline service if the treatment is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or outside our scope of work. This may include but is not limited to: not following pre-care, recent sun exposure, compromised skin, medical issues (allergies, health conditions, medications), pregnancy, intoxication, inappropriate or aggressive behaviour, or unapproved prior tattooing. The appointment will be cancelled and the client will be charged 50% of the service total.

All Services Are Non-Refundable. No exceptions.

We completely understand that life happens. Plans change, unexpected circumstances come up, and sometimes you simply can’t make an appointment you had every intention of keeping.

When you book with us, however, that appointment time is reserved especially for you. We plan for your visit, prepare for your treatment, and hold that space in our day specifically for you.

With enough notice, we often have the opportunity to offer that appointment to another client who has been waiting to come in. With a last-minute cancellation or no-show, that becomes much more difficult.

Just like a Pilates class, dinner reservation, hotel room, or concert ticket, your appointment is a reservation too. Our booking fee and cancellation policies help protect the time that has been reserved exclusively for you and allow our artists to continue providing every client with the time, preparation, and attention their appointment deserves.

Our policies are never intended to make an already stressful or unexpected situation feel worse. This is also why they apply consistently, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Having one clear policy allows us to be fair to every client while protecting the time our artists have committed to each appointment.

We’re incredibly grateful that you choose to spend your time with us. Thank you for giving us as much notice as possible when plans change and for respecting our artists’ time as much as we respect yours.

Clients who choose to forgo the complimentary touch up (i.e. they don't need it, or the timing doesn’t work out) will not be refunded any amount.

There is NO complimentary session included for scar camouflage, laser tattoo removal, or periodic touch-ups.

Changing Technique / Shape: At your complimentary touch up appointment, if you decide to change the shape significantly, or switch to another technique, there will be a charge of $100 + hst and you may require a third touch up ($150 +hst) to reinforce the new addition.

If you’ve had previous tattooing done on the area before by:

- Another Artist (no matter how long ago)

- Lara more than 2 years ago

You MUST email info@larajadebeauty.com clear photos to get approval before booking. 

Why? - Not all existing work can be covered without removal first. 

Some existing work, even 2 years later, will still look great and we won't recommend you touch them up yet.

Clients who proceed to book an appointment with previous work that was not cleared by us, and we can't work over it resulting in a cancelled appointment, forfeit the booking fee.

Clients who arrive to an appointment with previous work that was not previously cleared by us will forfeit their booking fee and be charged as a "same day cancel".

Parking: There is green P parking on the street along St Clair West as well as a Green P lot on the north side of St. Clair W. 

Guests, Children, Mobile Devices: Due to the undivided attention required from your artists, please minimize distractions by coming alone to your appointment. If you would like to have someone above 18 accompany you, please be respectful in the waiting area.

Results: We provide the same service for every client, but the healed results can vary. Retention depends on your immune system, skin type, lifestyle, medications, and adherence to our pre and post care instructions. Therefore, healed results are beyond our control but we guarantee we will do everything we can at your appointment to make sure that the factors we can control are done correctly (i.e. color choice, depth, technique, providing clear pre and post care instructions and aftercare supplies). 

At Lara Jade Beauty, we value your privacy. We collect information like name, contact details, and appointment preferences solely to manage bookings, confirmations, and inquiries. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties for promotional purposes. Any data sharing is limited to essential business processes, such as appointment scheduling. Laser tattoo removal packages include 3 sessions. 

Clients who no-show or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the laser service fee in order to rebook using their pre-paid session.
